For some odd reason the screws do not have threading on several parts. Unfortunately the exact width of my drawer that I used it onmade it unable to cinch the wingnut because it fell on one of these mysterious blank spots. Even though the magnet was strong, and the concept is perfect, this product was useless to me. Also the bolt was 2 inches long so it stuck way out through the back.

We have a new home with a builder's "standard" kitchen, but NONE of the childproof latches can be properly installed on our cabinets. We also did not want to use adhesives (our son can remove them anyway). Until I found these, it was impossible to keep him away from the contents of cabinets in our kitchen and bathrooms. Now I don't have to chase him into the kitchen, praying he didn't pull out the scissors again. Thank you! Really hope they continue to make and sell these!
