I spent weeks looking at shower enclosures, trying to find the perfect one that would look great, feel solid and be water tight. This shower has been perfect. The glass is thick and heavy, all the fittings are high quality, and installed it is virtually waterproof (there is one spot next to the hinge at the bottom of the door, that if the shower head is pointed directly at, a few drops of water will splash out during a shower - I got a little extra piece of trim from a shower store to cover that area, and now it's pretty much waterproof). I have a handheld shower that I use to wash the sides down with after every shower - not a drop gets out.It is critical for a good installation that the installed shower base be exactly level. There is a bit of flexibility in the installation. My shower base was off by about an 1/8" and I was able to get it all to work, but it would have been easier if it was level.This design, with the metal bar at the top and the bottom, allows for a really tight door seal at the bottom. I had an enclosure without that metal bar at the bottom, and no matter what I did it always leaked water.Sealing all edges with silicone, inside and out, also helps keeps it water tight. When I first installed it, it felt just a little bit wobbly, but once all the silicone cured it's totally solid. In my house I also have another neo shower that is a custom frame-less glass install, but I think this shower looks better and works far better. It is also dramatically better than anything sold off the shelf at home depot or lowes.
