This is a very pretty and well made tree skirt. I ordered 36 inches but it is actually only about 2 feet wide in diameter. It still looks nice but it's important to know that it runs much smaller than advertised.

Lovely knit tree skirt with a festive but classic pattern. The quality is really nice. I love that the skirt has ties (rather than hooks or velcro), as this will be easier to manage and will look nicer. I'm retiring an old polyester / velvet tree skirt that secured with hooks that were always coming undone...or falling off entirely (only two out of the original three hooks left, but since none of them ever stayed attached anyway, what difference does one hook less or more make?). That's okay, I got 20+ years out of the old tree skirt, and it's time for a fresh look. I think the cats will like it, too (they like to sit under the tree on the tree skirt at holiday-time). Excited to use this at the holidays this year.

The headline calls the skirt 'red', which is what I wanted, but further down the page, it is called 'burgundy', which I absolutely did not want. I did not see the word 'burgundy' when I ordered it. When I received the skirt, I was convinced that it was not red but burgundy. My ability to finely distinguish colours is not the best. I was prepared to send it back. Next day, and ever since, I see it as a very dark red. I installed it around the tree. I ordered the larger size (48"). It doesn't cover as much floor as I had hoped but it looks good nonetheless (and, yes, I measured it to confirm that I had the right size). Should also mention that the quality of the material is exceptional. Really deserves 4.5 stars.
