I wasn’t expecting much but actually it’s not bad. It’s not being used for a Dremel, but in fact for my milling machine so that I can drill very small holes with precision. I made a small arbor in my lathe with the M8 x 0.75 thread to suit the chuck so that I can hold it in the mill. The collets themselves are fairly concentric with acceptable runout, so I’m happy. I wouldn’t get too excited about the mini 3-jaw chuck though, it’s pretty poor and won’t grip anything tightly. That said, there’s no need for it because the collets offer a wide enough range for most jobs.

Sadly, doesn’t work w the Foredom flex shaft. I hate when you search with the Foredom name and this pops up near the top as if it works. It doesn’t.

Can you have too many collets and the 1/8 one in the set was better than the collet in rotary tool I have got and the chuck fit too and you get a spanner too, I have just sent for a second set, I have more than one rotary tools Dremel and non-Dremel and the chuck and collet nuts fit them all, nice box too

My little bench grinder has a flex shaft attachment, but only came with a single collet that fits very few of my tool bits.This kit fits the HF flex shaft perfectly, all collets and sleeves, and the little drill chuck adds a whole new set of functions.

I searched for Dremel 3000 accessories. This popped up after I had ordered some bits that would not fit my my Dremel, way too small. Most Dremel tools I have owned over the years use a 1/8 bit. I ordered this kit so I could use the bits I had already received. The nut or collet holders wouldn't fit in my Dremel. I went back and could not find a single word that said not for a Dremel. The collet or bit holder in my Dremel is .168 thousandths of an inch in diameter. The brass collets in this kit measure .185 thousandths inch. The nut or collet holder on my Dremel measures .252 thousandths ID and .349 thousands OD over the threads. The ones in this kit measure .289 ID and .375 OD. Would of been nice to add a caption, not for a Dremel tool. Now I have to return this kit plus two different bit kits with too small a shank to fit.

This is a great replacement set of collet nuts and collets for rotary tools requiring an M8 x 0.75 thread collet nut, such as HF rotary tools. Includes a chuck and collet nuts. Also includes 3mm and 3.2 mm (1/8 inch) collets. I find that many accessories for rotary tools are labeled as 1/8 inch when they are really 3mm. Having both 3mm and 3.2mm collets ensures you have the correct collet for the accessory.

Broke the collet nut on my Harbor Freight Rotary 68696 Dremel type tool and harbor freight did not have replacement collet nut so I measured the Broken one 8mm and took a gamble and ordered this set, this set fit the tool perfectly…Hunted all over for replacement collet nut and could not find any anywhere so I just wanted to post this so others looking for this would not have to search once they see this post…
