I absolutely love this. The first time I saw this product, I was impressed. Even with food particles in the strainer, the water runs right through it. It is also flexible. Fits my sink perfectly and it is exactly what I have been searching for. It is very easy to remove, dump and put back into the sink hole. Worth the price. I definitely recommend this product 👌

Fits perfectly in my Standard Kitchen 3.25" kitchen sink drain. Nice and snug! Tried an OXO sink drain strainer but it was too deep and returned it. My kitchen sink is a double so I just ordered one more. Kudos to Dripsie! It's packaging even said 'Standard Fit' and true to it's word!

After years of looking for a sink drainer that works I have found the one. This little plastic drainer really works. It sits down in drain, has plenty of holes for drainage. Nothing is added to the strainer so there is simply draining and keeping other stuff out of drain. Easy to clean.I heard about this from the inventor over the radio at NPR.

Love this sink strainer! Fits perfectly and it drains even when it has a lot of debris in it.

This product works great! It catches things that shouldn't go down the sink drain, and it's easy to empty and clean. It's well worth the price.

This is so good. I heard the inventor on a pod cast and decided to support a local guy and give it a try. I got a 3 pack. One for me, one for pop and one for my sister. We all love it. The water drains through no matter what. Well, I haven't tried it with everything, but so far we've all had great results. The food scraps fall right out. No having to smack it against the side of the pail. And since it fits inside the drain, nothing gets caught in an overlap. Easy to keep clean too.

This product really works! The Dripsy sink strainer design allows the water to run down the drain even when the basket is filled. Ingenious. Easy to clean as well.

This strainer may seem expensive, but it's worth the money. No more endlessly chasing bits of food around the sink with the sprayer trying to get them over the rim into the strainer. No more fishing in a full strainer trying to get water to drain through. No more banging the strainer on the edge of the waste bin and still having to pick out the caught food. This strainer does it exactly what it says it does - allows food to fall in and excess water to drain through. I've just ordered two more - one for me and one for my son-in-law.

This strainer sits inside the drain - it doesn't have a lip that overlaps on top of the drain onto the sink - which is a really great feature as with the other kind, gunk always gets stuck on the edges and the sink never drains efficiently. I got this plastic one because the stainless steel ones must not really be stainless steel - as they started to rust my drain. These are perfect. I've tried so many, and wasted so much money - this one finally works as it should.

I had a metal version of this where the strainer sat on top of the sink drain. That did mean that everything was caught by the strainer but you had to remember to pull it out each night, really wash it and let it dry otherwise it started to get slimy around the underside of the rim. I saw the Dripsie on a home shopping channel and thought it looked like a good replacement so picked it up here. The Dripsie fits down inside the drain instead of sitting on top of it. It works pretty well as a strainer, the only issue for me is that there is a slight gap between the sides of the strainer and the pipe so smaller bits of food can get down inside (my sink is a standard drain size). Things that do go into the strainer are caught since the drain holes are small enough to capture stuff but there are enough of them to allow water flow. It's got a nice nub in the middle of it so you can pick it up easily. I clean it by knocking it on the garbage can and you will have to manually get smaller bits off by hand. I don't see an issue with this getting slimy like the metal one.

We have used the dollar store mesh variants for ages. Biggest issue with those is that the edge is lifted up and food does not go in the drain but sits at the edge. The Dripsie is a godsend when it comes to that, it fits our drain perfectly (generic IKEA sink) and small food rests easily flow in the drain and do not sit at the edge.So far cleaning is easy. Of course it does not grab as much as the mesh dollar store ones... But definitely grabs enough food particles. We are definitely happy Dripsie users and hope to never buy a mesh dollar store one.

Update over 1 yr later: Both sink strainers are still going strong. I stopped maintaining them as carefully as I used to. I've poured boiling water directly thru them so many times. They've been filled with gunk that sat for days before I noticed and cleaned them. If anything gets too "gunky" or trapped in the little slots, a scrub brush quickly solves the problem. They still wash well, work well, and look good/clean (no staining). I don't see the need to replace these things any time soon. Great bargain. And my drains have remained unclogged. I've barely had to run the food disposal machine we have within one of the sinks. This thing catches almost everything while still allowing water/liquids to drain.Original review:Highly recommended! Pay attention to the size guidelines to ensure a perfect fit for your sink.I've used this sink strainer in both of my kitchen sinks for the past 2.5 months. It catches a lot of food & debris while still allowing water to drain. It can be overfilled, rendering it ineffective at draining; but that would require A LOT of food build up. It's simple to empty out and replace as needed. It's very easy to clean and maintain. I haven't had any issues with mold or scum build up yet. Most of the times, I just rinse it after washing the dishes and put it back in place. Occasionally (maybe every other night or so), I'll lightly wash it with dish soap and let it sit in the sink (not the drain hole) to dry. I haven't used any harsh chemicals on it because there hasn't been a need to. I have poured boiling hot water on it numerous times without it warping or deteriorating. However, as a precaution I usually try to run cold tap water while pouring very hot liquids into the sink. There's not much else to say. For the price and efficiency after almost 3 months of use and abuse, I consider this a quality product. I would be willing to replace this several times a year... but I really don't think I'll need to. I just checked both of my sink strainers, and they've both held up extremely well. Very durable. Much better than the standard metal kinds.

This is the best i have found till date. I got ones from Bunnings and local stores and a different one from Amazon as well but this one is the best out of all. It fits perfectly and seals it real nice not let stuff out. Very easy to clean and keeps the drain clean.
