The glass looks wavy and discolored and clearly not matching the rest of the glass. Not what I expected

I purchased this after having my driver window break out, and am really happy with this product. Fit and finish was very nearly OEM, and it even has a similar tinting to the stock glass. Given the price it’s honestly worth just trying this to replace broken glass, as compared to going to a junkyard and pulling glass from a parts car that’ll be maybe $50, plus you have to spend your time taking the door apart and the regulator off the window. If you end up replacing the window yourself, it’s very DIYable, there’s several good videos on YouTube.

While the mounting system is better then the factory original glued in version, the glass itself looks cheap. The area of dissatisfaction is tint used. It looks like someone used spray on tint and missed a bunch of spots. It is internal to the glass, and there is no way to fix it. I wanted to tint the windows, but the installer pointed out it would only make things look worse. If you can find another option, then do it.

Why Ford, in their infinite wisdom decided to design the factory window brackets so sloppily is beyond me, but I'd wager that all SN95 and New Edge owners are feeling the pain. I'd already attempted a fix using some of the strongest adhesives available for public use, but to no avail. I vowed that if they (both sides) broke again, I was buying this. The biggest pains on the install were the drilling out of the rivets that secure the window to the actuator. Since I'd attempted an out-of-car fix already, this was old news. Just use some stainless 1/4' or compatible metric bolts and nuts after you drill the old rivets out and (most likely) enlarge the holes. Aside from that, the adjusting was nightmarish as I have a convertible top, and they're notoriously fidgety. The only complaint i have with it is that the manufacturer put a fo-real sticker on the glass... not one that can easily be pulled off. I had to scrape the sucker off with a razor blade and use goo-Gone to get the residue off. Took about 5 minutes, so not the worst thing I've had to do on this car.Overall... fantastic product. I just ordered the one for the other side, as it came loose less than a week later. i'll post some more as time goes on and heat and cold affect it. So far, so good.

The revised 1 piece bracket on this window is likely why anyone is going to be looking for new glass short of a broken window. The factory window is 3 pieces glued to the window at the highest stress leverage points and also act as stops. Invariably, the glue fails and the brackets fall off and that is why your window falls down in the door or is all out of alignmnet or whatever. The window shown in the picture is exaclty what you get, a revised 1 piece bracket that runs the ENTIRE length of the glass and cannot be yanked off the glass by the stops. What you see is what you get, you will need to save your old window and swap over the 2 metal "catches" that go in the 2 open holes you can see in the glass in the picture. You will also need the Dorman window regulator hardware kit for the small screws/nuts that attach the bracket to the regulator since you will be drilling out the original OEM window rivets. The glass is tinted green just like OEM, the fit is just like OEM, packaging was really great even to the point of being overdone (that's fine for glass) and the revised bracket should prevent any future failures.NOTE: For the install you may have to file down the area in the door itself where the stop bolts ride in as I found my particular window would come up literally a few mm too much for the door to close with the back stop bolt as low as it would go. The front was fine. This is to be expected due to manufacturing tolerances and took all of 30 seconds to do.Again, you get what is in the picture, that is it, if you need a regulator that is a separate piece and also a part prone to failure at the age these vehicles are at especially the driver's side.
