These are replacements for a disk brake conversion I did on my 1969 FJ40 Land Cruiser decades ago. These new rear calipers were exact replacements for what I had and they fit fine. Obviously, I am unable to speak to their longevity but I hope they last a good long time.

bought these as rear brakes on my T Bucket. They replaced basically the same type, They work well but I will need to install front disk brakes in the future

This set of rear calipers arrived earlier than expected. I have installed them on my 57 chevy and fit good. The bleeder threads are coarse and as soon as you crack the bleeder open, you can feel it is sloppy in the threaded hole. Other than that, good price, good fit.

I ordered these to try to convert the rear drum brakes on my F350 to disc. They won't work for this purpose, but the calipers appear to be very well made and finished. I contacted Drivestar to ask for a return authorization and they immediately authorized the return, but then I started looking at the calipers and decided that since I would be out the return shipping anyway, I would just keep them for some other future project. The castings look nice and tight, no obvious defects in the graininess of the metal, they were nicely deburred and the flashing is ground off smoothly. I wish I had a car they would fit on, they are way nicer than the usual remanufactured garbage you get from the big parts houses. I will update this review if I ever end up putting them to work.
