I'm using these to connect a rackmount equalizer to a small mixer, using the XLR outs of the EQ to go into the mixer. Once I got a nice EQ with XLR ins and outs, it felt imperative to take advantage of that kind of connection, but I already had the XLR inputs of my small mixer taken up by other devices, so these cables help sort that all out. With the kinds of unorthodox connections I tend to make--between being on a budget, having a small studio, and loving experimental sounds--I'm sure connector/adapters like these will come in handy in many other situations, especially since I have a mix of old stereo components and newer prosumer audio gear. RCA connections come up a lot in the former, and still in the latter, so the more ways I can utilize those ports, the better.

This pair of RCA male to XLR Male does the job as intended.For its purpose I have no complaints and the wires feel decent enough and would last a while.

Nice set of cables for the coin. Pretty straightforward set.Can't go wrong for the price and they feel stout enough.For me cables come down to one priority...do they produce noise into my system.I did not notice any change whatsoever after swapping from RCA to XLR noise wise.So these are a great set of basic cables at an attractive price.Recommended!

Not the highest quality, but these are short and being balance they work fine. If you are going to spend a fortune on high end equipment then you should probably get high end cables, which these aren't, but for the money they will work in a pinch..
