They work when hung on a bar in a rack but are awkward to use. If you have a power rack a better solution is to buy dumbbell holders from Titan or another power rack manufacturer.

When trying to do Decline Dumbbell bench press - the prohibiting factor is always trying to get the dumbbells in place. It is no longer a problem.I attach these SPOTTER HOOKS to the dumbbell, hang them on a bar and slide right under. Then, when finished - rather than the awkward dropping of the weight - I can hang it back in place for the next set.Love these.

Small weld holding cross bar that breaks easily.

These are good quality and a good price, but the velcro straps make the grip too wide on my contoured handles. They'd be much better on straight handles.

A great home gym solution that’s very affordable. They work well, and no more shoulder tweaks trying to get the heavy dumbbells up into place.

The idea is to start at the top of the eccentric part of the rep. With dumbbells that’s where you have the least control. I normally incline press 105’s but started with 95’s to get a feel for these. It was an epic disaster causing me to have to drop the weights and had I not been wearing wrist wraps I’m sure my wrist would be broken. The Velcro wraps make the grip way too fat and the hanging hooks are too narrow to hang over even a thinner bar. I’m better off just sticking with what I can press up from my chest or get a quick spot. If I could give zero stars I would.

Works well for heavy dumbbell presses. No more smashing my knees with 95 pounds because I don’t want to drop my nice dumbbells.

It's not long enough to get the weights off the bar. Getting the weights on the hooks is easy enough as the hooks the dumbell rests in are shorter. However the hook that hooks onto the bench bar don't allow enough space to lift the weights off for the exercise. They need to be about 2 inches longer to function the way they are designed. The picture is with 10kg plates on the dumbell. If using 15s or 20s you couldn't even get them onto the hooks.

This product broke twice for me while in use. There is a metal bar that lies under the dumbell for support that is cheaply welded onto the hooks. Great concept but cheap product. I even gave it a second shot after the first one broke but was disappointed yet again
