These travel trailer water heater anode for RV has a 9.25-inch (23.5 cm) overall length, 3/4-inch NPT thread (bolt size that screws into the heater), and 5/6-inch (15mm) metal rod diameter that makes it compatible with most RV Suburban and Mor-Flo 6 gallon water heaters.
Protect Your Water Tank
When immersed in the water within the tank, the anode becomes the "sacrificial" metal, meaning it willingly corrodes instead of the tank itself, allowing your water to stay hot.

TRIED TO INSTALL ANODE ROD, BUT THREADS ON ROD WERE WRONG.WHEN REMOVING NEW ANODE ROD, FINISHED DAMAGE ON WATER HEATERTHREADS. NOT THE WATER HEATER MUST BE SCRAPED.SUBURBAN SAYS RETAPING THREADS WILL CRACK THE TANK LINER.SCRAP A GOOD RV WATER HEATER BY A BAD QUALITY ANODE ROD.

Good DayI purchased the Anodes for my RV hot water system, the description was not clear and accurate. The rods were supposed to fit 3/4 inch fitting on the hot water heater but when received were close to 1inche in diameter, therefore I am stuck with oversize anodes and a delay in deploying and enjoying my Canadian Navy retirement. We have a 2018 Forest River Rockwood ESP popup camper with a shower and hot water heater.It goes through one of these rods a year and with covid we had difficulty finding the locally.Luckily this fit perfectly, no issues.
