I put this 3.5” in and 3.5” out dynomax on a 2013 Silverado with the 6.2l v8 and I am very pleased with it. It has just a hint of rasp to it outside the truck but all you hear is a smooth deep tone inside the truck with almost no drone. I am very pleased with this muffler.

Sounds great, easily slips on 3.5" OEM pipes. I welded it, but could be installed easily with U bolts.

This was added to an aftermarket 3.5" stainless steel system just under the passenger floor on my 7.3 PS to stop a droning noise at a certain speed. It is well made but is it stainless steel as the box says? Why would it be aluminized if it were 409 stainless? The weld zone where it was fused to the stainless aftermarket pipe doesn't look like a stainless weld. That being said it will probably function just fine. But ask me if I am getting tired of the marketing hype and misinformation?

It fit as expected. Dimensions given are accurate. Used it on a diesel truck on our car lot so that it could pass our state inspection.
