Put on a 2006 Dodge Cummins that previous owner straight piped with a 4" pipe. Quieted it down so my neighbors don't hate me, but sounds really good!

Muffler is great sounding. It’s more on the loud side than quiet. It’s loud but does not drone while driving at highway speeds. Would buy again.

Put this on a first gen Dodge Cummins. I ran a straight 4” pipe for years until the inspection station wouldn’t pass it. Sucked it up and ponied up the bucks for this. It’s well made and actually cut down the noise nicely. I’m getting too old for that raucous noise crap anyway...and I’m sure the neighbors were getting tired of it too.

So the item description is not correct when it says 100% stainless steel.A magnet sticks to it very strongly so I chose not to have it polished for fear of spots of rust showing up soon.As for the sound it does change the tone and has a nice sound but I wanted a deeper rumble so I had to add a second 4" oval thru muffler which turned the tone just right!.Pipe inlets are thin and 4" IDAll in all a great start for a big system 👍👍👍👍

Used on a turbo lsx with a 4" downpipe from turbo and turned out after muffler just before rear tire . Quieted it down alot

Nice muffler but to loud for my application. I used this same muffler in a 3" exhaust system on my '87 Firebird and it sounded great, but with my 4" system it was just to loud for normal driving in my opinion.

These mufflers replaced my Flowmaster Outlaw Bullets. The Bullet mufflers were just too loud and annoying because there were zero restrictions. The Dynomax Ultra Flos fulfilled my quest for a more crisp sound which in my opinion is acceptable to most car enthusiast and my neighbors/dogs.
