Your cart is empty. The new EBC Yellowstuff compound is essentially a race pad but with a big difference in that it works from cold and can be safely used on the highway. If you want the ultimate in high friction braking this is the pad to choose. Brakes feel superb from first touch of the pedal and stay effective up to race temperatures. Maximum stopping is prime requirement and for short duration track use. Its dust rating is similar to OEM parts. All pads come with edge chamfers, center line slots, noise reduction shims and OEM hardware as needed. All EBC pads feature the EBC brake in surface coating which helps pads seat quickly after install.

I've been running the Yellow Stuff pads for the better part of 10 years on my 2006 WRX.These have awesome cold bite properties (0.6 friction co-efficient), a huge heat range (900c / 1652f), and the brake dust they create is not excessive. These cost the same as OEM brakes for my car, but the OEM brake pads have much lower bite (0.3 friction co-efficient), and much lower temperature range (315c / 600f) - the true "positive" of the OEM brake pad is virtually no dust.I'd much rather clean my wheels and calipers of brake dust VS potentially go far past the thermal threshold and potentially have an accident. If your application of braking force is even/thoughtful, you can modulate these very well - it takes time to learn these pads, because their grip level is so much higher than stock. When on a fast drive, I stopped applying brake force with my entire foot, but instead began modulating with just my toes. That level of finite/specific control has proven to be incredibly helpful.Something to bear in mind, I run the Yellow Stuff pads on the rear and Red Stuff pads on the front. The Red Stuff pad does not have as high of a braking co-efficient as the Yellow Stuff (0.5 VS 0.6) and this is 100% intentional. The impact is reduced nose dive under braking, and that makes it easier to apply steering inputs while braking.I've been trying to find a brake pad setup that is similar or better, for a similar price range, and I have not been able to. This setup is the best that I've ever run. It reacts in cold temps, has better bite than stock, similar (or cheaper) price than stock and a massively superior heat range.A few friends have followed my advise and run an identical setup (Red front, Yellow rear) and they've sworn by it, and will not run a different setup. Despite this, I am constantly on the lookout for other brake pads that would equal or be better.Something you might run into, because these are basically entry level for racing, is a high pitch squeal when they're cold. You can apply Permatex 24125 to the caliper pistons & backing plate of the pad to help limit squeal, but in my experience it will not stop it 100% of the time.I've written the companion review for the Red Stuff pads as well.

They work great, only minimal break in squeak/squeal that they mentioned, but I liked it, reminded me of the race track, it went away after a few days of driving though. But be aware these are DUSTY pads, way more dusty than stock. So if you don’t have black rims a lot of cleaning might be in your future

Purchased these paired with EBC USR7409 series sport slotted rotors, stock calipers and Michelin Super Sport tires on my 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX TR at the recommendation of my friend, who's a mechanic in Kodiak, AK. Upgraded from stock pads and rotors. I couldn't be happier. I've had them running for 2000 miles now and they are extremely responsive (my Scooby is my "play car", and is driven rather aggressively).Things to note:Pads did not come with any additional hardware/plates/etc. I was told by my friend that these aren't really necessary and are generally included to help reduce noise, but that they can create a "spongier" feel. If you replacements, might want to order those at the same time (they generally come with calipers - but not always, check the caliper manufacturer).Brake dust on these guys is pretty high, and I may have noticed it more because I painted my calipers bright pink and it was also the first 1k miles.Noise level is higher than stock equipment, I am running these WITHOUT any metal plates in the calipers so that may change if you use them.Amazon vehicle checker is INCORRECT about the 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX TR (tuner ready) trim level auto fit checker. This IS the stock caliper replacement pad for this vehicle (the 2006 was released in the WRX and WRX TR versions, both of which use the same calipers, rotors and pads stock.

put these on my R32 GTR, yellows front and back, spent a while breaking them in and then brought it to a track, worked very well until the dot 4 brake fluid boiled after about 20 minutes of hard driving, but the pads kept grabbing hard. would buy again. these are very dusty and you will need to scrub your rims more often.
