Your cart is empty.The new EBC Yellowstuff compound is essentially a race pad but with a big difference in that it works from cold and can be safely used on the highway. If you want the ultimate in high friction braking this is the pad to choose. Brakes feel superb from first touch of the pedal and stay effective up to race temperatures. Maximum stopping is prime requirement and for short duration track use. Its dust rating is similar to OEM parts. All pads come with edge chamfers, center line slots, noise reduction shims and OEM hardware as needed. All EBC pads feature the EBC brake in surface coating which helps pads seat quickly after install.

I added the Yellowstuff to my R1 Concepts rotors. The only negative is a lot of brake dust. They stop fantastic, much better than anything I have tried.

Same review as the 42139's... They are both horrible!Ugh, where to begin. First off, the company that makes these didn't send the shims that a lot of reviews suggest are needed. At any rate, the person through EBC was great and extremely prompt in sending the shims. Shims? You say. Yeah, so apparently these shims are supposed to help quiet the braking noise when coming to red lights, stop signs, RR crossings. small kids/animals... BUT they do no such help!I've had these brakes on (and installed by shop) for over 7k miles now, and these bastuds still squeak the high-pitch embarrassing sound associated with no pads at all! It's literally embarrassing coming to a stop in a busy pedestrian area. Can you hear me now? Yep, I'm braking!I'd love to take a frickin hammer to these out of sheer frustration for all I've been through. Literally these and the rotors (also EBC) and you're looking at close to $500 for brakes that sound atrocious!Why won't these sons of batches just keep quiet? Why do I need to have dogs following me and chasing my car every time I stop?!?!?Serenity now... Serenity now!!!

These pads grip the rotor exceedingly well. They consistently have a good bite. They don't seem to fade easily and are probably more than the average driver will ever need. They do squeal at a certain point every time I use the brakes, but I can't give that too much review yet as they are not yet broken in with the new slotted rotors. I only have 500 miles on them so far and have not been using them heavily or in racing applications yet. They fit my Dodge Charger flawlessly and were easy to install. I highly recommend using the shims that are provided by EBC for these pads. Amazon did not supply them with the pad, so I contacted EBC directly to get these shims (EBC sent them to me for free, no cost). The squeal is much less with the shims and more tolerable while being broke in. Shims are easy to install on the back of the pad. So far, I like the product, but the occasional squeal prevents me from giving these a five star review at this time.
