everything mounts and looks like it should work, but suction side is not the right size! it is way too large for factory coolant line. Will not make a seal! baught this for my project car 2 years ago, and it sat in box waiting for me to get to this part of the build. went to install it today (March 1 2025) only to find it does NOT fit a 2006 Subaru EJ255 system as advertised. not happy, doubt I will be able to send this back for refund almost 2 years later.

I love my old school wagon - so much so that for a couple years I've had no air conditioning. 😳. When it needed repairs on the belt tensioner my husband decided to go for the air conditioning compressor since they're right there together. (It was the clutch on the old unit that was the issue, but this new one had it!) The price of this part, fabulous. He had no issue installing. I've had air conditioning for a few months now and it's not missed a beat (and it's been hot here). Highly recommend. Performance - great. Fit - great. No noise to speak of except the sound of fabulously cold air! Highly recommend.

bought this item hoping for a good quality replacement....installed compressor purged lines vaccumed lines etc etc ...charged system ....and ran perfect for about 500 miles........then i smelled plastic burning ...pull car over and the wires to the clutch coil had melted off......and within about 15 mins the clutch started making a horrible noise and then torn up my belt.........long story short .....not a good quality item .....luckily for me amazon return policy is solid......i will return for refund
