These brake pads are very well made and sturdy. The metal brackets are painted black compared to my old, manufacturer made brake pads that were not painted which inevitably rusted. These brake pads are far superior to my original brake pads in that those had tabs you bend to hold the pad onto the bracket, the new ones are bonded to the bracket. Very pleased so far with the performance of these and my side by side stops perfectly.
