What’s up with this!? I can’t even get the product without it being out of its packaging. Looks purple but they are blue in color. Packaging looks like they’ve been sitting on a shelf for 50 years.

This is my second set my first set lasted me 4 years and they are still working perfectly but I’m pro maintenance so they are getting changed out as is the rears

I installed these after rebuilding the caliper. After getting the caliper bled, which was a bit of a process, I was finally ready to test ride. As others had mentioned these initially made a strange sound when applying the brakes, and it took more force to get them to grab. I started changing back to the factory pads, and when I pulled one of these out I noticed the contact patch was pretty narrow. It was only grabbing on the top edge, and one end. I am assuming that either the pads or the disk is not flat. Decided to run them awhile to see if the vibration goes away, and the stopping power improves. 30 miles of stop and go driving and It feels like it is getting better. No more vibration noise, and stopping appears to be improving.Update: The vibration sound came back after a couple of hundred miles. Pulled the pads and put disc-brake quiet on the back, filed the faces and edges a little, and no more vibration or sound. Working great, and better stopping power than stock.

The brakes came in and were just as shown. Very easy to install as they were exactly like the older brakes. (just more pad)put 100 miles on and they are working great!
