Yes, ECPPP recommends replacing all componentsof the timing system at the same time. The useof worn sprockets may cause the chain to fail tomesh with the worn sprockets, resulting in poorengine performance.

No surprises here. Not a roller chain like OE but quiet and tight. Chain and gears with guide came as expected. I stall was a snap on my rebuilt 4.0 H.O. in car. Didn't even have to pull the radiator. Now the engine purrs like a kitten and my ignition and cam timing are tight. Would recommend. Will update after I get some more mileage.
