The back rest and rack are great for the price. The situation is the back rest should be 1 inch to 1 1/2 higher because it does not clear the back seat snd to mak it fit you have to remove the back seat and the back rest cushion and the install the back rest and rack frame then reinstall the seat then reinstall the back rest coushon while squashing down the seat. The chinese calculated the hieght of the back rest with the hieght of there replacement back seat coushion which is les thicker than the original harley seat. So if you do not mind squashing the back part of your pasenger seat a little bit this is a good buy

I have an existing HD backrest without the luggage rack on an '06 Road King. I purchased this so I could interchange the 2, existing for everyday, and new for trips. The seller pictures a yellow HD, same seat and license plate bracket as mine. The new backrest was approximately 11/2 inches shorter than the factory HD, causing it to 1) sit on the license plate, and 2) backrest pad not able to be raised to clear the seatback. The quick release tabs were cheap, and I was not able to lock the unit in place. I ended up only using the luggage rack, attached it to my existing HD backrest, and threw out the rest. Essentially I bought a luggage rack for $70. Not a great product.

Some assembly required but not at all difficult. Had to adjust the width to get it to line up with the bike.

Lack of quality from the material to the chrome plating to the pot metal lock tabs that break during installation to the cheap thin plastic bag cover that looks wrinkled after installation if you get that far. The edges are still sharp and burs will cut you or at best pluck chunks out of your microfiber cloth when you wipe it down. The customer service was quick to refund my money because repair parts are not worth asking for replacement. A tiny 1/8” plunger for the lock tabs is pot metal and breaks under its own spring loaded tension. You would be better off having something fabricated locally with American pride

I actually used the luggage rack on my oem Harley backrest the back rest pad material was pretty thin but for the price not a bad deal at all

Arrived damaged, waiting to hear back from seller. Backrest cover is thin as tissue paper and was torn in two places.The chromed quick release sissy bar and rack are good quality for the price but the back rest quality is a deal breaker, imho.UPDATE: Customer Service with this company is as it should be. They requested pics of the damage, verified the quick release fit my bike, and gave me a ship date (of tomorrow) for a replacement.
