I was happy to see that I could get this power steering hose through Amazon for less than 17 bucks and delivered with Prime. In my infinite amount of knowledge of car repair and basic mechanics of loosening bolts/nuts, I stripped the heck out of the nut securing the hose to the back of my whining and leaking power steering pump. Once I realized that the nut is actually 5/8's inch, the damage had already been done by me and my not-so trusty crescent wrench. Viola! I waited two days for the new hose to arrive and I started the disassembly process with all the parts needed to complete the job - until I realized that this model of hose had a 5/8's end to the power steering box, and a 1/2" to the back of the power steering pump reservoir. Needless to say I had some unpleasant words said and used the higher power's name in vain. I'm shipping the hose back and letting Amazon know that the "check to see if it fits" feature is wrong for Ram 2500 model years 1992-2002. Ultimately I had to get to work the next day, so I used my more-trusty vice grip pliers to tighten the thoroughly ruined nut back on - ensuring that I have the same chance as a snowflake in he11 of getting this hose off one more time (heaven forbid the power steering pump takes a crap anytime soon).

I used this to replace the OEM line that rusted and began leaking at the metal bend near the steering gear. This Edelmann piece fit correctly and is of good quality. The new o-ring seals were included, too.

Installed easy, and was exactly what I needed to fix a 1995 Dodge Ram 1500. Rating a 4 star because the threaded/flared ends seem a little flimsy as compared to OEM. But, after 1 month they are leak free. I'm happy.

Fits my 2wd 1996 ram. Probably also fits 4wd. Still working after a year. Very easy install. Should have done it earlier.
