Itโs ok, has to be finagled on the top of can and it takes off if not it looses its way and binds up , but if you can sit it on can with both hands on unit it works great!

Gives up halfway.โ Clamps onto the can, makes grinding noises, then justโฆ stops. Have to wrestle the lid off manually. More frustrating than doing it by hand!

Not sure if the one I got was damaged or what. The shaft that the โbladeโ attaches to is bent off to one side. The cutting edge canโt even grip the lip of the can. It just sits and spins around, doing nothing. My husband and I tried it for 20 minutes last night and finally gave up. Borrowed a real can opener from a friend. Disappointed because I have arthritis and itโs hard for me to use a manual opener. Will have to try something else.

The issue I have had is that after the opener finishes I cannot remove the lid, so I have run the opener again. The plastic tool they provide doesn't help much, and I have taken a metal utensil from my silverware and the lid comes off. The built in magnet is useless. The best thing is how smooth the lid/can joint is - and if you need to reseal a can you can do it very well. A friend purchased a more expensive design, and we plan to compare notes to see if their's offers a better solution, or if they operate the same

I have horrible grip strength so this has been amazingly helpful.

After fully charging, we set out to test this little opener to see how it would do with typical cans. We tried canned veggies, canned tomato paste, canned diced peppers, and a couple of other items that I don't recall. it opened the first can we tried which was I believe canned corn, although it was apparent that it was working hard. It cut neatly and shut off as advertised. Great! Then we tried the next can, and it engaged, waited a second, and disengaged. No cutting. We tried it several more times and on the fourth try it started to cut with motor straining, and made it all the way around and shut off. Ok, but not great. The next day we had another can to open, and after the fifth try with it engaging and disengaging without cutting anything, we gave up on that can and opened it easily with our old opener. After this, we tried a few other cans, none of which would it open.Nice idea, but just not a reliable opener. So, back it went.

Unable to open the battery compartment. Tried and tried. With my arthritic hands - still can't walk. ๐
