I was surprised that , for the low price, it is relatively high quality. The Spring is WAY TOO LONG causing the trem arm to be way up in the air - ridiculous. BUT, you can either cut off 1-1/2 coils from the spring or, do what I DO: compress THE HECK OUT OF it to get it to a useable lenght, Also, it's annoying that the nylon bushing on either side of the tension bar at the fron of the unit: it's there to apply downward tension on the string as they exit the unit to help create a lower break angle for the strings to come up at the bridge, those bushings fall out constantly so keep an eye on them.

The spring is very stiff and makes it difficult to fold away. Installing wasn't difficult. Stays in tune of you are using a roller bridge (which I am). Looks good and seems to be built well. Definitely saves a lot of money if you want this type of tremolo without paying $200+.

This is a decent Bigsby Vibrato clone. I suspect it's Zinc Alloy as opposed to Aluminum like the originals,The tip off is that it's heavier that a "real" B7 Bigsby. At $36, I have no reason to complain though. I would suggest that care be taken not to damage the Chrome plating as my experience with Chrome plating over Zinc is that it can pit and peel.It went on this guitar pretty easily because the screw hole pattern on the end of the guitar matched perfectly. This type of vibrato must be screwed to the top of the guitar because of the roller tension bar which facilitates a good break angle over the guitar bridge. I was initially trying to mount it like a B6 (archtop vibrato type with no tension bar and no attachment to the top of the guitar) and noticed straightway that wasn't going to work well.I placed some strings on each side of the vibrato so I could achieve a straight pull in order to mark the screw holes on the face of the guitar accurately. At the time I did notice I was not getting a lot of compression on the vibrato spring but it did not trigger any "alerts". It should have."Real" Bigsby's can come with different length springs to accommodate different types of guitars. It is clear to me now that I need something about a 1/4" shorter or "softer" to allow the arm to "float" in a comfortable "neutral" position. There were no instructions with the vibrato. A selection of springs might have helped me sort this out even if it raised the price of the unit a bit.Otherwise, it works as directed and I would consider this for a more costly guitar project.I will deal with the arm sticking up too high until I can identify a correct replacement part or cut and grind the existing part to a proper size.

Exactly what I needed. Doesn't hold tune great but I doubt any would if you move strings too much. Strings need to maintain some pressure to hold position. That's not the tremolo fault. Common sense. I got mine for looks anyway. I wouldn't use any tremolo cuz none will jold tune perfectly

This works well for me, put it on my Starfire copy. Pretty easy to install, goes on exactly like the big money brand. Works pretty good, but I did cut down the anchor pins a little, I may end up replacing them with hardened roll pins like the big boys use on theirs. The spring was a little too long, but I cut that down. Some people like the long spring, some like the short, whatever works best for you. Made sure my nut slots were correctly sized and lubed, and so far I haven't had any tuning issues, but I am not an aggressive vibrato type of player. Overall, I'm happy with this

I had some issues with it, but the seller was great! I can't say I was brave enough to chance a second purchase. My original purchase had a ding in the whammy bar and those odd circles you see I the pick. I assume others haven't had this issue. Also a real bigsby is around $350 in gold which is just theft.

This tremolo system was great when I first installed it. It did require drilling into the body of my hollow body guitar, but I was ok with it. This installed very easily and worked well. After a month of very light normal use the peg which holds the high e string broke off. This renders the guitar unplayable. I will email the seller to see about what we can do about this, and if an agreeable solution can be made I will update my review. Again this is a great tremolo system, but It does not hold up and you should save your money and spend the couple extra dollars on the real thing.*Update*I decided to purchase a similar product from another seller at around the same price and it has so far held up. The pegs seem sturdier and so I would recommend the product from WINOMO. I am not sponsored and will not benefit from their success, but from spending my own forty dollars on each of them I have determined that theirs is the superior product.
