This easily managed 1/2" and 3/4" limbs, but struggled with anything bigger. The battery takes a long time to charge, and doesn't last as long as it takes to charge so you can't plan on continuous use. It's compatible with some of my other batteries, but I haven't identified which brand they are compatible with, however these batteries don't fit on official chargers. Official batteries do fit in this tool.

This piece of equipment is great. I used it when I got it immediately. Using this tool is addictive. You get going and can’t stop Lots of fun

Was very surprised at how well the works. Used it on our grape vines and really save a lot of effort that would have been required to use a manual pair of shears

I enjoy pruning, but I did not have the strength to close pruning shears after shoulder surgery, so my trees were getting bushy. When I came across these, I had to try them. These pruning shears are great! I have pruned my entire yard with them. They work amazingly. I am very impressed, and I recommend these in a second.

While these shears were advertised as having a 40 mm cutting diameter, the user manual explains that 40 mm is with a 25V battery. I received a pair of 21V batteries, and that voltage is only good for 30 mm. Otherwise, I liked this tool a lot. While I did not measure diameters, it will cut anything that fits between the blades. It has a nice charging cable that splits to let you charge both batteries simultaneously. The display did not drop below 100% in my testing, so it must have a great battery life. You can change between two blade openings, but I left it at the default maximum, and it cut smaller branches without any problem. I’m not sure why you would bother to switch to the minimum. Maybe it works faster if you have a high-volume job with only tiny branches. I have not used it long enough to require blade lubrication or tension adjustment.I can’t understand why Asian companies don’t hire an American proofreader. The manual is full of awkward wording and typos such as “Power off before connect the batter, or otherwise accident maybe caused.”

These are my first powered pruning shears and frankly, they are fairly intimidating to play with initially. They would most certainly take a finger off with ease so it should be obvious that these require a lot of care during use. I received the 21v version with 2 batteries and they do a good job of getting through branches as thick as about an inch thick without much struggle. The batteries charged up rather quickly (even the one that arrived completely dead). This will be a super helpful tool around my yard!

This is the scariest tool I own. It isn't a slow bite through a branch. It snips it off like a sadistic mohel. There are no guards and no warning about when it's going to chomp down. It would take a finger off in a heartbeat, which can be shocking if you aren't used to tools like this. It looks like scissors, right? Well, it's not. It's a power tool, and very dangerous. I know I don't need to put all of this in this review, but that's how scary it is.That being said, this made clipping through some small branches sooo much easier than my manual cutters. I was done in about thirty seconds versus a good five or ten minutes the other way. My biggest disappointment is the build quality for the cost. The batteries feel cheap, the housing feels cheap, and I just don't trust that it's going to be rugged enough to give me three or four years of use. It feels like I'll be lucky to use it for one growing season.

I like these easy to use, well working, battery powered pruning shears. Hand sized and cuts very well. Comes with charger and two batteries. Also a nice carrying case.
