Your cart is empty.Electro VinoVac Wine Saver System Automatic vacuum pump for saving leftover wine. Position unit over the bottle top and push down. The trigger switch will be activated. Air will be extracted automatically. When extraction is completed LCD will show “OK”. Then press the top bottom labeled “TEMP”. It will display wine temperature in F° or C°. The lower buttom, “STORAGE TIME” indicates how many days and hours the wine has been stored. Pull unit straight up off bottle to remove. For storage, a bottom lid inserts into the base. 3-1/8” H., 2-1/2” across top

Purchased this after seeing it at Vina Robles Winery in Paso Robles. The wine server said that they had been using them at the winery for awhile and that he liked the product, but liked a second one he showed me that I have yet to find, better. I purchased this and immediately used it on a bottle of red wine. The unit attached easily and started working. The unit indicated that the seal was "OK" and showed the temp on the bottle. Within one minute the unit started up again, and it is loud, indicated after a minute that the seal was "OK" and stopped. This went on for an hour. I put the bottle in the wine closet but we could still hear it from the other room. I tried it again on another wine bottle to make sure that the first bottle just didn't have a good seal but the entire process started again. I contacted the distributor and although the rep was nice she could not answer the question as to why this was happening, promised to call me back with an answer and has never called again. I returned it. Sad because it obviously is a useful tool for solo drinkers who want to hold onto an open bottle for a few days.

Works great. Just make sure you are placing the batteries as described in the tiny diagram as it is counterintuitive.

A pleasant surprise, because... It works. Very cool gadget and if you're a sucker for such stuff, get it NOW! The best and coolest wine toy I ever had. Might get another one, however, I seldom have more than one bottle open at a time. For those of you who do, definitely worth a try. Not only does it do whatever it's expected to do, but provides a fun experience along the way. Especially if you'd like to entertain and impress your friends. Totally cool. Love it.
