Doesn't hold it's grip. Tightened it then it broke. Bought a different one and used the l-bar with the new one.

Not sure I like the plastic clip and tightening doesn't create enough tension to really keep whatever you attach to the bar in place. It's convenient that you tighten with a drum key, unless you've misplaced your key, and then you'd have to go find a wrench or something. Most drum hardware and attachments come with a way to tighten and loosen built into them.

I used this to attach an old Drumit module to an Alesis Nitro Mesh rack. Removing the rubber sleeve from the metal mounting arm for the pad allowed me to fit the stem of the module mount in, and it was a good fit. Unfortunately, it was too loose on the part where that goes around the rack's bars.I was able to adapt by wrapping the rack bar with some fabric furniture tape to fill the gap. Having said that, I couldn't find which brand or model of e-drums rack that this was designed for
