This Speaker sounds good but doesn’t live up to its specs on the SPL they boasted or indicated in the specs Way Off!I own many many manufacturers of pro audio speakers RCF, QSC , JBL, Peavey, Yamaha even other EVs .The 1 st generation EVs were equal to these I. Output I own both - I like generation 1 Better!!I Did some gigs with these ( small size weddings and parties) they just can’t hang with being pushed like example a Qsc Cp8 when you need that output …. And Yes the QSC is in the exact same price range and class.The QSC doesn’t have the tech these do , but conversely these EV Gen 2 s cry like little babies when pushed 🥲🥲🥲 I use them for speaking engagementsThat’s it !!!
