After buying a new trolling motor 1.5 years ago it had a Harmonic noise and 1 speed. a few months ago the motor developed a noise at one speed higher as well (3 & 3.5). after installing this item the higher speed noise is completely gone and the lower speed noise is about half of what it was, infact it was so loud on 3 that very rarely used that setting. Now it is not that bad though. it was easy to install and use. it worked great as intended. it is a great value and I would buy it again.

I have a 2024 Ulterra and at speed 2.5 a high pitch noise was coming from motor after installing this it went away .

Bought both the T h Marine and this item for two trolling motors on the gulf.both work as advertised, but this item is a fraction of the cosy of the TH product and I couldn'tsee any difference.

I bought from another company that said hand tighten. When I asked them I had to use Chanel locks there answer was yes. Returned and bought from these people and worked like described. Highly recommend, going fishing tomorrow, and know it will reduce noise. Will re- rate and inform buyers. Well went to the lake and it is less noisy at low speed. Very happy with it, perfect fit hand tightens and makes it really quiet.

it fits great, but the finish is garbage, it discolors in salt a bit, so it's not as dark black, anything touches it & it loses it's black finish completely, comparable to all similar products, it does seem to make the trolling motor a hair quieter/smoother & more tangle resistant, mostly it just looks cool though

The prop nut looks great and makes cleaning the weeds from the prop shaft quick and easy. I have used one on my other Fortrex and it seems to make the motor run smoother and quieter. That is why I bought this second red one! I think it's worth the extra bucks to complete the motor, both in appearance and convenience.

I read a lot of stuff online about these things being a waste of money and don't do anything. Well i can say that this absolutely made my Ultrex quieter. You cant tell much in the water but if you run it out of the water and compare the sound it is quieter with the Prop Nut on. Thats all that really matters is how it sounds in the water.

It works just as it should and fits great. Reduces vibration and noise. Added bonus it matches my boat very well.
