shipping came a long way across the continent and was only a day late.is exactly as described and easy to wire up ( digital display)is adjustable on the back side to suit readings taken by a master / reference tachnice red backlit face, but not too bright.I used this on my John Deere backhoe, where the tach was reading too fast and very difficult to troubleshoot or replacement cost too high. This little unit did the trick just fine, where hour meter and tach was needed to keep track of service records intervals

Hot garbage... product is cheaply made, cheaply packed, and was dead right out of the box.... made the mistake of permanently installing the harness before testing... so I lost an hour of labor on top of the inconvenience. Don't be like me!

I installed this on a Wheel Horse 520-H tractor with a Onan P-216 engine. I connected the signal wire to the negative side of the ignition coil. I set the ratio for H0001. I checked the reading with a laser tach at the engine output shaft. When this gauge was reading correctly, it matched the handheld tach. However, the display was erratic and would flash random RPM readings. With the engine running at 1350 RPM, the display would show 132-136 about half the time. It would momentarily flash numbers ranging from 76 to 700 (760 to 7000 RPM). I would have returned it but I had to cut and solder the wires to install it.

I tried it since it was cheap. Not worth the price. I have a 12 pole flywheel that my tach trigger reads off. It is noisy and bounces from actual reading at idle to 3-4x true rpm very quickly. It seems to work when I am over 2200 rpm. I would spend more on a better tach if you want it to be useful. I might keep using it for the hour meter.

Will power in but after playing with speed ratio for hours the tach never left 0rpm. Tried running power and ground directly to battery with new wire and also ran a new wire for signal to coil neg terminal which still resulted in no rpm displayed. Ran the signal wire to w terminal on alternator and had no display. I’m not opposed to mounting a tach sensor however if I wanted to spend that money I wouldn’t have cheaped out and bought this waste of money in the first place. Will be buying a decent gauge off jegs with a much more simple setup.

RPM/HR meter.. I tested it before hard-wire installation and: It might work but I couldn't prove it - after car engine stop device dies - display show all symbols at once., see attached picture Reset doesn't help. Only complete disconnect from power resets it. Until next engine stop.. Prepare to return.

I had no problem installing the camera once I found the back up light wire on the truck. I was pleasantly surprised that the camera also comes with a wire for those that do not want to go wireless. The monitor is powered all the time but only shows a picture when I shift into reverse and the camera comes on. There is no delay-- the picture comes up very quickly. All in all a great value for a rear view camera. Would recommend to anyone.
