This device does exactly what it claims to do. It isn't quite as powerful as the wired cassette adapter I used previously, but the benefits of bluetooth far outweigh that disadvantage in my opinion. The play/pause button also works well for controlling audio without digging your phone out of your pocket or interrupting navigation. The battery life has been fine so far too, but I will update this review if I have any issues on any front.

I was so hopeful for this, and when it worked the first time out, I was very excited! And then the second time, it didn’t work. And I tried again, and it didn’t work a third and fourth time. So now I have an utterly useless cassette tape that plays nothing.

When it works, it works well, and would deserve 4 stars. Yet this Bluetooth-cassette adapter doesn't seem to connect every time and there's minimal feedback as to what's going on. Also, the battery capacity seems too small, requiring very frequent recharges.Perhaps better to consider a cable-powered device.

Got this for my husband's car and it works great. I have it plugged in to a usb cord on a cigarette lighter power adaptor so I don't have to worry about the battery running out. It comes on when the car starts and automatically goes into bluetooth pairing mode. Super simple to use and much more affordable than putting in a new stereo system.

While this is convenient for listening to music at my job, it doesn't work reliably so I don't use it as much as I would like. I work 10 hour shifts, and the receiver end goes dead after around 6 hours if it isn't plugged in while listening to music. That is fine, it's close enough to be plugged in but is a mild annoyance. The biggest issue is that it almost muffles sound, so even though I have the volume on my phone turned all the way up and the volume on the radio I'm connecting to turned up, I can sometimes barely even hear it. Kind of defeats the purpose of the item...
