We ordered this so my husband could do a DIY repair to our refrigerator. We have been using the refrigerator for a little over a week now with it having no problem so it appears to have been a good investment, much cheaper than a new refrigerator 😊

Worked great just long enough to be beyond the return window then motor burned out. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

Refrigerator with freezer on top was still cold in the freezer but the bottom fridge section was not getting very cold. Listening indicated that the fan behind the freezer's back wall was not running.I ordered this fan motor as a replacement and, while it had a different look that the original, it fit the mounting bracket fine. The kit included an entire wiring harness that I did not use.Once installed, the fan runs fine and pushes cold air from the freezer to the fridge section. Great way to save money on a new fridge or a service call. I hope this fan lasts a good while.

Correct part for the job. It works now, ask me in 5 years if it’s still going. Original Panasonic fan lasted 8 years, hope this one lasts as long. About half the weight of the original Panasonic fan.

This fan looks a little different than the original fan motor in my Kenmore refrigerator, but it fits perfectly and works great. I didn't need the included cable harness and thermostat.

After purchasing a part through an appliance store and receiving the wrong part, my husband called the manufacture directly. They told us that we need part #242077702, but in fact we didn't need that part. This is the correct part that we need. The manufacture told my husband the part was on back order and that it would take several weeks to arrive. My husband put in the part # on amazon, but the part in the picture wasn't the same. When looking at other parts shown below on the web page, he saw this part. We actually needed this part the entire time. If you order part #242077702, it may not work. You may need to get 242077701 like we had to buy. Just be aware, the manufacture even gave us the wrong part number. This part was exactly the one that we needed.
