The server arrived well packaged and intact. The box it arrived in showed no damage.I plugged in both ac power cables (supplied) and it came right up. As this will be a linux file server, I loaded Ubuntu v22.x from a usb flash drive and the software loaded right up. All the drive lights showed green. All tests showed everything working.Within an hour three of the hard drives (of the 8 in total) started flashing orange lights. Usually this indicated a pending error. At some point I reset the server and removed power to move some cables. Within minutes or powering back up the orange drive lights started flashing again. Very quickly one turned solid orange. Rebooting, I brought up the raid controller by hitting the F8 key and saw drive failures from the 3 drives.I let the server run overnight and again saw the drives as still failed. I replaced the drives with spares I had on hand. 2 weeks later the new drives are still functioning (as are the other 5 drives). I added more hardware and put the server into service where it's been performing just fine.I contacted the vender and was told (re the failed drives) that that happens and requested pictures of the drives and their serial numbers. I send those. That was a week ago. I haven't heard from the vender. I still have 3 dead drives and no expectation from the vender of replacements. Now I need to purchase 3 additional drives to replace my spares. About $95 for the replacement drives.So - if you purchase from this vender (Top5Tech/StrongIT) note that if something fails likely you won't receive any help from the vender.Buyer Beware.

Arrived well packaged and very quickly.Not sure if it came with an os , because I installed ms server 2016 after installing the server in my rack.Like it so much Iām planning to purchase a second one .
