My sons chain had rusted (oops) and got stuck.. Put this stuff on.. Perfecto! GET THIS! TRUUUST ME. I'm a semi-cheap single parent so value is important.. Well? Here's your jam if your lookin for chain cleaner and repair, maintenance what ever. Lol

Im pretty new to the game of specialized products, imgrew up using canned oil and wd40 for cheap bikes that i owned. But i decided that its probably better to use a product formukated for the specific application. This stuff is pretty good. Goes on pretty easy, wipes off easy, and keeps the chain quiet. I just did a wash on the ride, and afterwards apploed a light coat to the chain. Ir makes a big difference. I chose this because it was a good price, and it was a synthetic. After doing some research, it looks like synthetics hold up better, and unlike conventional petroleum lubricants, it doesnt break down with age and has less tendendcy to have it molecular makeup breakdown with heat/friction. So far, i have nothing negative to say. I have four other bikes to run clean and tunes on, a d ill be using this lube on those as well. When i comolete an overhaul, ill probably run this in the cable housings to help keep the cables slippery. For the price, im happy with the product.

I cleaned off my bike chain and applied a small drop to each link. Since it is a synthetic and clear, there was very little (if any) mess. I only gave it 4 stars because the proof of how it works needs more time.

Just a few miles ridden but I did get caught in a thunderstorm and had a bit of muddy, wet riding. The Epix All-purpose did seem to keep the red clay mud out of the rollers of the chain. An inch of rain in 90 minutes may have washed out a dry wax or ceramic lube.
