Your cart is empty.This 1200 denier neck cover is designed to work with the Arktis Regular Neck Turnouts only. It closes under the horse’s neck with 2 heavy-duty hook and loop straps fasten through stainless steel D rings to provide an added layer of weather protection. This neck cover has no fill inside so its best-suited for changing seasons or rain protection. The 1200 denier polyester outer is waterproof and breathable. Neck cover is fully lined with smooth poly taffeta. Our unique neck cover attachment system uses only hook and loop strips covered in surcingle webbing. The neck cover attaches to the Arktis Turnout on each side of the shoulder. It provides gap-free coverage, even while grazing. Since it has no metal components for attachment to the Arktis Turnout, it’s more comfortable for the horse. There are no metal pieces or snaps to pinch and poke her, especially while laying down.

I bought this to match my heavy weight blanket from the same color and line. It does not work with the high neck version of the equinavua blanket.However, I'm sure it will with a regular neck. It did fit true to size and looks nicely made .

It would probably fit the Arktis better as that's what it's made to fit but I had a 72" Norse and it fit okay. The velcro is incredibly strong! The length of the neck was good even though I consider my mule to have a pretty short neck. It overlapped his withers well keeping the wind and water out.I am very happy with this neck cover and I would recommend it!

This hood is beautifully made. Be aware that this hood will only work with blankets that have velcro attachments. If you have a blanket with d rings you will need to make modifications, which is doable.

This Equinavia Arktis turnout neck cover in Carbon Gray is made to coordinate with their turnout blanket of the same fabric and color. This neck cover does not have any fill - it is a cover only.The fabric is 1200D polyester that is breathable, PU-coated, and waterproof. It is fully lined with polyester taffeta lining to protect your horse's mane. There are velcro fasteners for securing under the neck, and velcro fasteners on the underside to attach it to their matching turnout blanket.Note: The fasteners are proprietary and will fit only their matching turnout sheeet/blanket without modifications.

This neck cover is water proof and seems decently durable however it has weird velcro only attachment points thus it'll only work for their brand blanket. It does not have straps/loops or clips to attach to 99% of brands. I'm really disappointed in that feature, I ordered this thinking it would work for one of my four brands of blanket only to see upon arrival it wouldn't work.I jerry rigged it with some holes cut into it plus some sewing skills and it's working for my insanely gentle on blankets gelding but I wouldn't order this unless you own THEIR brand of sheet.Quality is fair for the price, sizing wise my gelding is 15.1hh and a medium is HUGE on him.If you have an arab or lightly built horse go smaller than you think you need.

I really like having hood options that are detachable. Makes it easy to swap out or remove if weather improves. This hood is made to go with the brands matching blankets but think it could go with other brands also. It’s the no fill turn out sheet weight so great for multiple uses. I have had a number of blankets by this brand and have been happy with the quality and sizing
