For the first time, I recently encountered banjo strings that were too short. I'd never heard of such a thing before, but the C.F. Martin Co., once the maker of banjos under the Vega name, is now shipping strings that won't reach the third and fourth tuning machines on Vega long-neck banjos. The Ernie Ball strings are labeled "Extra Long." I might not go that far, but it doesn't matter: They're long enough. They work.People go on and on about the characteristics of this string or that one. I've never found much difference among them (though the little woolly worm at the loop end of GHS strings does seem a plus). That having been said, it doesn't much matter if the string can't span the distance between the tailpiece and the tuning machines. These strings do span that distance, which is the difference between a banjo that can be played and one that can't.

I bought these as a just in case my strings break and need to restring my tenor banjo. I haven’t had to use them yet but I looked at them after I got them and they look really nice

テナーバンジョーの弦は種類が少ないので、あまり選べないみたいですが、やはり中国製と違ってしっかりしているようです。
