These are seriously tiny. Please please please make sure that this is the size you want. I actually pulled out a measuring tape and looked at what 4 millimeters looked like before I bought them to make sure these will be the right size for me. They are smaller than normal brads you would use in notebooks or for notebook paper. I use them as eyes in some of my crochet projects and they work really well. The ends are pointed and you push them through and separate the two pieces on the back to fix it in place. I have never had an issue with these moving around in my projects and I like using them a lot more than eyes I have to glue or sew on. It's a lot faster overall. Also, these came in a little plastic bag that doesn't reseal, so make sure you have something to put them in after you open the bag. It is easy to lose them.

These brads have 4mm diameter heads, and 8mm long 1mm wide "legs". They work just fine for securing label holders to my decoupaged, paper mache boxes.

I make and sell greeting cards to benefit our local library, and I like the size of these Mini brads for my A2 (4.25" x 5.5") cards. They each measure about 4 mm across and come 50 to a package. The color is nice and uniform, and the prongs in back are long enough to bend and flatten.Please see customer image above for a Halloween card that I made using these small black brads.P.S. I got them much more cheaply by ordering directly from Eyelet Outlet.
