Within a week of using this for my kitchen sink, it became stained. Within a few months, it had mold. I tried scrubbing but it did not remove the stains.

I use this in my kitchen, and it has been great for keeping my counter dry. I like that it doesn't take up too much space, but is wide enough for large bottles of soap.

To all who who's dish is discolored or looks stained:Clean it well with water and brush the grooves gently with a nail brush or similar brush. Leave it out in the sun until dry. Stains are gone for good. Still cannot believe it. But the discolored area where my white soap sat, is gone. I hope removed stain keeps being able to be removed in the same manner. Also, I am wondering if a different colored soap or a different ingredients soap will act the same way on this "stone". Will update this post if it doesn't. Looking to describe the exact soap purchased.To the manufacturer: 1. Please, make the dish THICKER!2. Give instructions on how to remove the stains so people know how to deal with thediscoloration!

I bought this to replace a tray I got from Target that collected water and got mold. It really does dry quickly when it becomes wet. I would caution that Dawn soap does stain it so I would get a lighter colored dish soap to avoid staining it.

Bought for kitchen sink for hand soap and sanitiser dispensers. Now the area stays nice and dry. Looks really nice too with a slender vase in the centre. Love it!
