Situation took two orders to get here but the shipper was easy to work with and in the end, THE GIZMO WORKS! No more shells in the eggs and I would imagine I will get better using it with time. It takes the top part of the egg off in a circle and you can do whatever you want with it. Very cool.

It has a large cup on one side and a small cup on the other. I use the large cup on the large end of the egg. It takes two hard snaps. When it starts to break thru the shell you can remove the shell with your thumb nail.

This is not the egg topper you are looking for! It doesn't work. Poor design. Pretty much useless.

Less messy than cracking by striking egg. Two strikes, 180 degree,s apart generally provides easy, clean removal of blunt end "cap." Remainder of shell of steamed eggs is easily removed. Raw eggs pour out without breaking yolk. Usually remains clean, so rarely need to wash.I like it.

I ordered this hoping it would make taking the top off an egg easier. I managed to get it to work, but it’s awkward and took multiple attempts to finally crack the eggshells. Perhaps with practice it might be a time saver, but for now not so much.

Es complicado de usar al principio pero con la práctica funciona muy bien. Para México les recomiendo que elejan el tamaño chico, yo compré el mediano y a veces hace el corte muy abajo y se empieza a derramar la clara. Con práctica les ahorra mucho tiempo
