Can be retrofitted to other US and Mexico series guitars using modern 2-1/16" spacing as long as the block to bridge plate mounting screws also line up properly.

It's an OEM high mass block. Perfect replacement. The American series Strats made in Corona use a different block with different hole spacing.

I have 2 1990s American Standard Stratocasters which both had the term bar wholes stripped and unusable. Rather than having to spend $100 each for entirely new bridge assemblies, for $22 each I got original equipment fender teem blocks and screwed them onto the existing bridges. Of course I ordered new term bars as well so as not to risk ruining the new blocks. $30 per guitar kept them with original equipment-only brand new!! Highly recommend (unless you MUST have a snap in!)

It is solid. I'd prefer brass as original replacement parts. I'll use it for a USA made Squier strat.

I don’t know what sheerness or thickness would have to do with anything since it isn’t clothing but I gave it five stars for that too. This trim block worked perfectly. I actually get more resonance than I did with the stock one for my original American standard strat from 1989.

A lot of steel mass compared to non-OEM offerings...good sustain.Tapered shape allows more tremolo travel than the non-Fender blocky blocks.Measure your string spacing before ordering.Old Dude Strat secret: remove any paint and high-spots from the screw side surface before attaching bridge.
