I spent $300 on one the forklift company made and this is all I needed. Not sure what the others are talking about or maybe product has changed but it is threaded all the way through and clamps down to my fork and does not slide off and does not need chains.

A lot of reviews mention the needing to cut additional threads. The one I received today (7/21/2020) Is fully threaded. I plan on drilling a hole or at minimum a divot into the tine for the bolt to hold into.

This product is perfect for us as it saves time moving trailers around in our yard. It mounts on the forks lickedy split. Saves us from hooking up a truck.

works as expected. simple. cost effective. Happy. pay attention to size, get the right size that you need. My forks are a little narrower that the smallest size you can buy, but they are the correct thickness. It still works fine, and the extra width does not affect the use.

Very handy to have. Move my equipment trailer often with it. Either drill a hole in the fork to accept the retaining bolt or use a chain to keep it from sliding off.
