They don’t get as hot as our previous ones, but don’t be mislead when the title of the item says they don’t. They certainly do get hot.

As others have said, these do get hot and the ring is hard to open.

The keyring was so tight I couldn't use these at all. Impossible to attach to the screen.

I purchased this to add them to our fireplace screen that did not have any. They were easy to install and they look good on the fireplace. When the fireplace is on, I can move the screen without burning my fingers. These are heavy metal and enhance our fireplace. Good product for the money. I would recommend this to my friends to get for their fireplace.

While we love the way these look on our fireplace gates they took longer than expected to install. I’d recommend them but be prepared to struggle getting them to go on.

The are exactly like the original pulls that were on our fireplace screen from almost 30 years ago. We had been missing one for years. These are very sturdy. My husband had a little trouble in stalling them but it was likely due to the confined area he had to work in. I'm very happy with the purchase.
