I have a m4 MacBook Pro. The drive is awesome but the usb c is limping off the plug. Not really good for usb c on M4s it’s too heavy. I ended up getting a hub and command stripped it to my Mac and just use usb. Heafty casing feels almost unbreakable.

Seems to work great. Re-formatted it to store and play games and I have had no issues with it at all. Tons of storage. Comes with a carrying case. Only reason I give 4 stars is it is a bit heavier then I was expecting. I worry its a bit to heavy for my USB port and will eventually wear down the port.

Absolutely the fastest USB Flash I have ever seen. I tested the drive on the USB 4 ports of my PC. The read and write speeds were: Read Speed of over 2100 MB/s and Write Speed at over 1800 MB/s. One very nice feature of the drive is heat protective cover to protect you hand from the heat. Truly a great drive for people with USB 4 or Thunderbolt ports

Fantastic! I have the 2TB version of this drive and I love that it arrives already formatted with no bloatware. Just a blank flash drive formatted in ExFat and ready to plug in and work in any Windows, Mac, IOS or Android device with no further configuration necessary. Crystal disk mark shows it reads and writes over 1,000MBps in a USB 3.2 gen 2 port, and if you are lucky enough to have a PC that supports USB 3.2 Gen2 x2 then it reads and writes at over 2,000MBps! Unfortunately, USB4 does not support backwards compatibility to USB 3.2 gen2 x2, but USB4 does support USB 3.2 gen 2, meaning the 2,000MBps speed only works on 3.2 gen2 x2, but it will run at 1000MBps on USB4, which is nothing to shake a stick at. This flash drive is solidly built. You wouldn't want to drop it on your toe! It is also a little wide, which may block access to a neighboring port on some desktops and laptops that have ports very close together.

This is a unique product. It has a steel case that allows one to slide a USB-C or USB-A connector out for use. The case is protective and also acts as a heat sink since it get warm with heavy use (this will probably increase lifetime). Transfer speeds are very good (in line with fastest flash drives i have tried). The real issues is always how well it holds up but it functions fine after several weeks (will update review if any problems). CAUTION: The "case/heatsink" protect the product but make it weigh much more and have twice the bulk of an unprotected flash drive. Whether this is a strength or weakness depends on your needs.

Not worth it. Slow, no encryption. Awkward and cumbersome. Would not buy again. And at $70 bux.. this should have been way better than it was.If it wasn't needed, I'd return it.Not worth the money. Get something more reasonably priced.

The 256GB capacity is more than enough for my needs. I can easily store all my videos, photos, and work files, and there’s still plenty of space left.It feels sturdy and well-built, which is great if you’re always on the go. The leather carry case that comes with it is a nice touch it looks good, keeps the drive protected, and feels premium. The dual USB connectors (Type-C and Type-A) are really handy. I use it with my PC, laptop, and phone, and I don’t need any extra adapters. It’s super convenient when switching between devices.I was impressed that the drive is truly plug-and-play on my phone. I didn’t need to install anything just plugged it in, and it was ready to go. File transfers on mobile are seamless, though the speed is slower compared to a PC, which is expected. The advertised 2050MB/s speed is legit on my laptop with a USB 3.2 Gen 2 port it transfers large files really fast. But, when I tried it on my phone, it was definitely slower. Keep that in mind if you plan to use it mostly with mobile devices.I’m really happy with this SSD. The large capacity, solid build, leather case, and fast speeds make it a great buy. Just know that the top speeds are best on a PC, not on mobile devices.

Review for: "fanxiang 256GB Portable SSD Flash Drive, 2050MB/s, USB 3.2 Gen2, Type-C, External SSD, for Mobile Phone and Computer, FF958"Brand: fanxiangCapacity : 256GBModel FF958First look: The 256 GB portable SSD flash drive came in a nice box (8.8 cm x 12.8 cm x 2.9 cm) with a keychain case, user manual, and warranty paper.I wasn't sure about the purple piece sticking up with glue on it, but I guess that's the button you press down and forward to expose the USB-A or USB-C ends. The glue ended up falling off so hopefully it didn't need it to keep the button on.On the box where it says "Solid State Flash Drive", it is instead spelled "Soild." The warranty is only for product quality issues, not for data loss, so make sure you have another backup of what you put on this drive.Testing & Opinion: The drive comes up "FF958" on my computer and I was able to drag and drop files onto it. Under properties it says 256,048,627,712 bytes but 238 GB available, although that is normal for flash drives. It seems to work as expected.

A very good flashdrive . It's made very strong and solid . It's a bit heavy and that's fine for me but take it into consideration before you buy it. It's very big also .
