These are your basic plastic dividers. Mine came and were all in tact - no bends. They are a bright blue, but definitely large enough to create privacy between desks or other types of utility (voting booths). You could also use these for small presentations in classrooms or expos.

I ordered these to use as a trifold poster board for photo displays. They are fantastic! They are sturdy and well-made and served the purpose well. They are clearly very versatile, as they can be used as intended - as classroom privacy dividers - but also as an alternative to a tri-fold poster board. I am really happy with these. They are made of plastic, which makes them incredibly durable.

So the current accepted practice in the classroom in my school is to have students working in pods. That's great! Post-pandemic students are forced to look at other humans, they can speak quietly when they turn-to-talk, since their neighbor is right there, and eventually, they learn to collaborate together on labs and group work. Once that last bit happens, though, students tend to think that all of what I ask them to do is a collaborative effort, including tests. And quite frankly, I share a classroom with four (Yes! 4!) other teachers, and I don't teach all my classes back to back... so rearranging the desks constantly is not something that I am willing to do again next year. Hence, these lovely bad boys. They are plastic, corrugated, non-see-though, and sturdy. In fact, they are sturdy enough that I can have one of these going the long way between tables, but I can slit that one part way down so I can insert another one of these at a right angle... and viola... a four-way divider that is free-standing. Now I just need a cell phone hotel, and my plan will be complete. Muwhahaha! I will enforce academic honesty or die trying! Like others have said, though, the edges are sharp, so you will need to either sand them or run tape along the edges. They should not be used right out of the box as is because of this. I'm going to cover the edges with tape.

I was excited by the size and the fact that they are made in the USA. I had planned to use these privacy desk panels in my classroom to create private “office spaces” for my students. However, I was highly disappointed with the sharp edges on these! I am quite shocked that a company would offer these for use in a school classroom setting with children. Reaching into the box to pull one out, I cut my thumb on a sharp plastic barb. Take a look at my photos and you will see that all along the edges are sharp points. Before I even think about bringing these to school, I will need to sand the edges with sandpaper or perhaps a nail file, even then I am leery about using these around children! Honestly though, for this price, I should not have to do extra work in order to use them as they are intended! I am highly disappointed with these; I did not expect them to be a hazard!

I actually use these for poster displays. They work great and standup to repeated use for multiple events.

These study carrels provide excellent privacy for students during tests. They’re easy to set up and durable, making them great for classroom use. The plastic is sturdy but lightweight.
