Very light weight and easy to carry. The cord is flimsy and broke easily so I replaced it with another. Perfect for small trout, bass, panfish.

Overall, it's an excellent net for smaller size fish. Anything over 12" in it would feel a little cramped, but I'm not a fish so.... Lightweight (6 oz.), well made, and it floats. The black netting is fish friendly rubberized with small webbing (1/8") and well secured to the aluminum frame. The comfortable handle is soft EVA. The coiled lanyard stretches just long enough for an arm's length reach if attached to your belt loop. I would have given it five stars if it only had a means to attach the coiled lanyard (and magnet release) to the end of the handle. But the way they recommend is fine and works well enough.

This is good for scooping minnies or SMALL fish ( ie.. native trout streams). Good product as long as you know what you are getting. The lanyard/carabiner is kinda junky and short but works.
