Unless you get a good hard shot on a flat surface, it really only spanks the flies. It's too stiff to bend much. Hitting one on the sill of a window is nearly impossible, for example. Five or six tries for each fly.

If you hit the flys to hard they eventually break. Kids live the colors and designs.
