I have an old 1992 KDX250 with a broken rear brake reservoir to be replaced, OEM for ~ $30.00. So this is an excellent replacement for the price but it will need a simple modification for this to work, at least on my bike. I need to move (bend) the reservoir hose nozzle by bending it from the present position to a straight-down position. A "controlled heat source set to ~440 F using a drill bit.

Although I knew this was not a stock replacement for the rear brake res on the 1983 Honda ATC200x, it did need two distinct modifications. First, the placement of the mounting tab is such that a spacer is required to keep the proper spacing between the reservoir and the frame. The second thing is that the stock tubing between the reservoir and the master cylinder needs to be changed due to the reservoir having a smaller outlet. Other than those two things it works well.

Item as described. For my application 1985 Honda ATC 200X it does mount differently than the original, again as disclosed but is fully functional.
