Great camera cage for my canon R10. It's affordable, well made, and greatly expands the utility of my R10, especially when it comes to video creation. Threads are all smooth and work well with all of my accessories. The price can't be beat! Recommended.

I wasn't sure what to expect with this camera cage. The price is about half of the better known products. Manufacturers tend to sacrifice either quality or features to lower the price. I prefer higher quality with fewer features, rather than the opposite. I was relieved to find that not only was the quality there, but quite a few nice features were also included.Pros:The fit and build are solid. It's all aluminum, and there's no wobble at all. Two hex wrenches are included as well. One for the 1/4-20 screw for the camera attachment, and another for the cage assembly screws that hold it together. It comes assembled, however. There's a magnetic holder for the larger hex key, although you could probably put the smaller one there if you wanted.Another nice feature is that the base has a built-in Arca Swiss plate, so no need to attach one.It accepts NATO rail, ARRI, or 1/4"-20 top handles.It also has a side attachment point for ARRI style handles.Finally, there is a built-in cold shore mount on the corner.Cons:The only real con is that it's not a single piece of aluminum. It's held together with two hex screws at each connection point. This may or may not be an issue for anyone. I suspect it was done to keep the cost down. Nor do I see a problem with it. However, I plan to put some Loctite blue on the threads just to make sure there are no surprises. I you're really paranoid, and want a permanent attachment, you could use red in stead.Overall, this is a really pleasant surprise. I still like my SmallRig a little better, but this is half the price, appears to be just a well built and has some features that my SmallRig lacks. If budget is an issue, then this is the better buy. You won't be disappointed.
