I will never do business with Fogatti again!! I’ve purchased 2 roof units and a tankless water heater from them with no problem. Then I purchased this window unit as a gift for my parents. Bought it early so I knew I’d have it for my Dads birthday. Before I could give it to him they sold their camper. Tried to return but they would not talk it due to being past the 30 day return window even though the item is unopened. Customer service is a joke. So now I’m stuck with a ac I don’t need

Had to return, it was making noise, and shut down after a short while of installing. Installing was harder than it seemed as well, but i took the time to do everything correctly as instructed. Would not recommend.

far to much money for not a lot of btu capacity. it can't even keep my rv cool in the summer. and that's with the roof air also running to help. also the fan doesn't blow very hard so the btu's it does have aren't terribly efficient.

Looks good, worked decent for a short time. Compressor went out in less then 2 months. Customer service is a joke. Don't waste your money on this product.UPDATE 9/25/24:New unit was shipped and is working properly. Only after my review was posted did i hear from C/S. Nonetheless, a new unit was shipped free of charge.

I am not very impressed with it. I live full-time in school bus. It's hard to find AC units fit in my windows. It is having trouble cooling of my 6 Windows school bus. I even made the space smaller feel by blocking off the front half. The fan motor only have two speeds. So it does not really push out air that fast. The instruction reforms you to take the whole unit out when it's raining

Grey finish of plastic dinged up, several spots, mostly on corners of both sections of ac unit. Several puncture holes on box. I took photos of damages to both product and box. Amazon not allowing me to complete return request even though I still have 2 more weeks time to return.

I live full-time in a cargo conversion. I just received and install this today. There’s definitely some design flaws. I’m not entirely sure why they think this is specifically good for caravans, etc. The lines between the unit do not detach, and it protrudes out in the exact spot of the bracket. With that in mind, it’s really going to depend on the kind of window that you have. If you’ll notice in the installation video, they literally just have the window open with the AC on. I don’t know who does that. I have 14 kW of stored power and 800 W of bi facial panels. This runs 650 W. So I can run it comfortably for a couple of hours when I have a full charge. That being said it’s also 6500 BTU but I have had 5000 BTU window AC units that were far more efficient than this one. My window swings open and clasps at the bottom because of this I cannot close my window all the way when this AC unit is installed. There is also no alternative ways to install the air conditioner without installing a shelf. For instance, some of the photos show it hanging beneath the windowsill that is not possible unless you install your own mounting brackets. Overall, this works to an extent and I can close the window more than I would with a standard window AC and it’s more aesthetically pleasing than having a chunk of pink foam insulation around a white box protruding out the side. That being said it is substantially overpriced. You can go get a 5000 BTU window air conditioner for $180. Probably cheaper some places that will out perform this. I would not recommend buying this. I would recommend trying to alter the window to accommodate a regular window AC unit. in my first cargo conversion I just put a window AC on the roof over the roof hatch and built a box around it with a line separating the intake and the cold air to prevent cycling. This worked great. The only reason I didn’t do it again is this conversion does not have a roof hatch nor can I put one on because I have a cold frame greenhouses on my roof.
