This is almost a perfect folding rack for home workouts, but there are some things you have to deal with to get it setup. The things that are not so great aren't terrible so I'm giving a 4-star to it, but it's really more like a 3.75. :-)The mounting process was not hard to get right, but it was not exactly straight forward. Other rack models have a flat bar that mounts directly to the wall and the rack arms pivot/mount directly to that bar. That kind of nice, wide bar is great for mounting to vertical studs (like a garage wall) even if you have to drill new holes. This rack has 4 separate mount plates and the holes are set horizontally, not vertically. BLAH! I had to get some unistrut, measure, cut and mount two sections across the studs and then assemble the 4 mount points to them. That is typical kind of home project stuff, but if it had that flat bar mount, then it would have taken all of 30-minutes and 8-12 lag screws to mount, not a couple hours of fighting things by myself and running to the hardware store a couple times for different sized nuts/bolts. All the above said, the rack itself does everything we need and we think it's a great value. There are a couple things that were not fun about setting it all up. One issue is the rack tubing size. The bar hooks that come with it are very strong and fit very well. However, getting attachments is a hassle. Everyone who makes the attachments has them for either 2 or three inch square rack tubing. This rack tubing is 2.3" so finding exactly the right thing is not easy and it tends to cost more. I decided to just buy some 3" safety bars I liked and a leg pad attachment, then I made some wood inserts to take up the extra space. Now it is perfect for our home gym use and with the pulley system we can work all muscle groups easily. Shifting from leg curls, to bicep curls, then tricep extensions literally takes seconds now that we have all the pulleys set in permanent locations on the rack and wall. We did need to buy some extra pulleys and cable, but that is not a rack issue. That's about your personal preferences for configuration. The second issue was the mounting process, which was not straight forward. Other models have a flat bar that mounts directly to the wall and the rack hangs on them. That kind of nice, wide bar is great for mounting to vertical studs even if you have to drill new holes. This rack has holes set horizontally, not vertically. So I had to get some unistrut, measure, cut and mount two sections level across the studs and then assemble the 4 mount points to them. That is typical kind of home project stuff, but if it had that flat bar mount, then it would have taken all of 30-minutes and 8-12 lag screws to mount, not a couple hours of fighting things by myself and running to the hardware store a couple times for different sized nuts/bolts. All the above said, the rack itself does everything we need and it was a great value. It feels solid when we load it up too. I am not a "beast" and never was. So far it has no problem with the 225 I have loaded on it and I expect it will work just fine since I can't ever see myself scratching at the 1000lb capacity its rated for. If you don't mind a little work mounting up your rack and fitting attachments, this one is a real winner!

pretty good product so far, the boxing was destroyed. the plastic packaging that all the hardware came in was almost glued to every item, it was pain to take off. the packaging where the bolt, screws, washers came in had some plastic barrels that were all destroyed and crumbled as if this item had been sitting in the sun for the last two decades. aside from that it was pretty easy to assemble and figure out.

Got it installed. I have a short basement that we also use for a family room area so I love that it folds up. I did have to cut off about 4" to make it fit but overall it works great. (I'm saving the parts so that if I ever move I'll weld them back on. IF you have to do something similar, consider taking it off of the top. I took it off of the bottom and it made the squat rack a little low for me, but it'll be fine. My bad.
