Most of this kit was ok. The paint can topper didn't work at all though and the red tape - what a disaster! I taped an entire room and the paint bled right through like it wasn't even there. I had to try to scrape it off, retape with regular blue tape and do everything again. What a pain!

New home owner or know anyone who recently bought a new home? Get this kit! It comes with everything you could almost possibly need to get those new walls painted. I love that myself, a Wife, have this kit hidden from my husband so he does not try to take it from me for his work jobs. I am repainting a large wall in our dining room and this is going to save me time from having to run to The Home Depot to buy everything separately. A game changer and a time saver! It even has the tape rolls!!!

this is such an awesome set. definitely get this as a gift for the new home owner or renter in your life! even came with a tarp and two rolls of tape.

This is a great set for a painting project. It is a decent quality and has many of the tools you need to complete the job all in one place. It includes a paint tray and the roller but it also has some brushes you might need for clean edges and hard to reach spots. I would not paint a whole house with this but its a great value for doing a small area.

This paint/prep kit has so many items that I always wanted but never wanted to pay for them individually. These include:-2 different size paint roller frames and handles (4 inch and 9 inch) with additional rollers-2 Paint brushes: 2 inch flat and 2 inch angled-Paint tray and 3 liners-2 rolls of painter's tape-2 sanding blocks-2 drywall patches and putty knife-1 drop cloth-1 paint can opener-1 paint can capI look forward to using the paint can cap that will enable me to pour paint from the can into the paint tray without making a mess. I am encouraged and more likely to take on that much needed paint job with this kit.

This is a nice set that has most of the tools you would need to paint a small project. The set is pretty good but not the greatest quality. I used the tray and roller to pain a small section under my kitchen island and it worked well with minimal shedding. I love that it includes some brushes for edging but they tended to streak and drip a bit more than ones I have used in the past. However, for small projects, this set has everything you need and is a good value overall.

If you need to paint a room, I would say that this has almost everything you need except the paint, spackle, and painter's caulk. The items are around the middle of quality options (you will notice at stores that there is usually a good, better, and best option). The brushes are the type that probably won't lose many hairs after a couple uses (if you even try to clean them at all instead of throwing them out after one use). My only critique is that the painter's tape is really just red masking tape. It's not at all like the high quality frog tape that I would prefer to use. This type of tape will have soak through at the edges sometimes. The dropcloth is really just a thin piece of plastic so I would be more likely to use it to drape furniture in than actually using it on the floor to walk on.
