3.5🌟I have mixed feelings about this candle. I love the concept—microbeads of wax that let you use any safe container you like is such a creative and versatile idea. The lavender scent straight out of the box is strong and absolutely lovely.However, once lit, the fragrance barely carries. In a large room, there’s no noticeable scent at all. Even in a small, enclosed space, the aroma is only faint. That said, the candle does burn beautifully—clean and even, with no smoke or soot, which I really appreciated.I might try a different scent in the future to see if it offers a stronger throw, because the concept and clean burn are definitely appealing.

I really love the concept of being able to turn any container into a candle. I wish the scented candle crystals came in different colors, but what I mostly found was that the colored candles were unscented. I like candles for the scents. I purchased Lavender, but I as I was burning the candle, I never smelled the lavender! The scent was not very strong. Again, it’s a beautiful concept, but needs some improvement.

These Foton Lavender Love candle pearls are just as fabulous as the Vanilla Vibe ones I was fortunate to be able to product test as well.The fragrance is just pure, classic lavender. No surprises. If you’re a lavender fan, then you’ll be happy with this product.I love how these pearls look in this hammered gold vessel I’d saved from a candle I’d used up.That’s one of the coolest things about these candle pearls. You can pour them into just about any heat-safe container, pop in a wick, and bam, instant candle.Having made my own candles the traditional way many times, I can attest this way is far easier.The only slight criticism I have of candle pearls is that there is a bit of wasted product when you lift the wick out to replace it.In the first picture, I had been burning that candle for several hours, so a lot more of the pearls had solidified around the wick. When I pulled it out, it ended looking like a hollowed out geode.Now, if you’re wanting to get the most out of your money with these wax pearls, you can certainly break the hardened wax away from the burnt wick, pop it in a bag, and melt it down later when you have enough to make a traditional candle. But you would need some basic candle making tools to do that.Alternatively, you can just break off and bury the hardened wax bits amongst the pearls, but it kind of does spoil the smooth, serene, powder look, and you end up with something more like lumpy cat litter.Either way, there are certainly methods to make this product last longer, and get the most value for your money.I stand by my earlier review of the Foton candle pearls. These lavender ones get five stars from me!
